Have you ever noticed how instinctual it is to kiss someone on their forehead, between their brows, when offering solace or compassion?
It’s as if we are programmed to know that right there is where our empathic gesture will be best received.
Before I knew what and where the Third Eye was, I would kiss my children’s foreheads when they were in tears or worried about something.
I also found it instinctual to kiss my dog there and, even more strongly, to connect with my daughter’s horse Mickey by kissing him over his third eye. I’ve found that horses are incredibly receptive to third eye kisses, and will lower their heads to receive affection and healing in this manner.
What is the Third Eye?
The Third Eye is the 6th Chakra, located between the brows and is called Ajna in Sanskrit, which means ‘perception’.
Its color is Indigo and its element is light.
