Hello Wild Ones!
This whole following the cycles of the moon, seasons and pagan holy festivals keeps me grounded. I realize that there is a comfort in being rooted like this. There is a continuum that speaks to me of trust. I trust that the sun will rise and fall, that the moon will phase, that no matter what happens, there is an order I can count on. Somehow, trusting myself becomes easier as I embody these cycles of the Great Mother.
Following the moon phases slows me down. My focus is also drawn up to look at the sky. We spend so much time looking down these days.
I’m particularly in tune with this new Moon and Solar Eclipse because I will be entering a completely new phase myself come July 12th! As some of you know, I will be traveling to Australia to live and love for three months. For the first time in my life, I am fully and openly in a poly relationship, embracing my two-spirited nature, in love with a beautiful woman whose heart I adore and treasure, as well as continuing on a twenty four year love affair with my male partner. There are no words for how expansive this is for my spirit, and the gift of life lessons this has brought to me.
I suppose it’s not all that surprising that I booked my new adventure to begin with New Moon/Eclipse timing. The day I booked my flight I was in a kerfuffle and not even noticing what I was creating for myself…but my spirit guide, Aiden, had quite a chuckle. I will be traveling great distances, in emotion, time and body, heart and dimension. Of course I am including the cosmos on my adventure, of course we will be manifesting new realities together!
We are always manifesting for our highest learning. The moon, the stars and the planets are part of our consciousness; we reflect to them and they reflect to us our current state of beingness. And you know what? It’s all good. We can relax into the knowingness that we are exactly where we should be to learn what we came to learn and that all shall be well.
It’s a summer of powerful, unusual eclipses. Let’s tap in. Let’s see what mystic secrets there are to unravel. It’s time to manifest beyond our wildest dreams.
The Universe is within us as much as it appears to be outside of us. That’s the mystery we are continually remembering.
New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer ~ Via Tula Fae
“The summer is heating up with Jupiter direct on July 10th and a partial New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer on Friday July 13th. Quickly following will be the Blood Moon Eclipse on July 27th and the last solar eclipse of the summer on August 11 in Leo. It is the beginning of summer that is setting the tone and the pace for the season of transformation and confrontation.
Jupiter in Scorpio has been retrograding since March, and has taught us a lot about what we truly want in our lives and the truth of our sovereignty in manifestations. As Jupiter becomes direct, our manifestations will have been brought forward depending on our level of self-value. A period of integration is ending. Bringing about our emotional awareness, especially how we regard ourselves in a group dynamic. During the retrograde there was an introspective analyzation of our morality and faith. The directness of this planet will also uncover how deeply we see into our truth and how confidently we express it outwards.
Now we have only four planets in retrograde: Pluto, Saturn, Neptune, and Mars. How will the partial Solar Eclipse New Moon in Cancer effect the beginning of emotional transformations?
Well, it’s complicated. There are two inverted trines, making a hexagram in our solar system coupled with a cardinal cross. Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces will feel in harmony for this eclipse in the placements of these signs. For the rest of the elements; there is more to dive into.
Opposition to Pluto is bringing out what we need to work on; as in our hesitations for that which we truly desire, which just sends mixed messages to the universe. Keeping in mind there is a Mars retrograde conjunct the south node in Aquarius, power games can take place stemming from a need to be seen. Reacting in a passive aggressive way to emotional outbursts as a deep wave of catharsis, rolls through the collective.
All the unconscious and conscious aspects of our brokenness are being healed with the saline waters of the grand water trine, Jupiter pulling the waves even more drastically. It is time to go with the flow and practice unconditional love. It is time to see behind the falsehood of anger and jealousy and withdrawal. For these are only expressions of one wishing to be appreciated. The summer can draw this out if resistance, doubt, and lack of emotional responsibility persists.
It is time to express ourselves without so much caring how others perceive the expression. It is a time of learning that how people react has nothing to do with us and everything to do with their background and resistance.
Through the summer, the four agreements of the Tibetan tradition will be healthy reminders and catalyze growth.
First, speak with integrity by being direct and avoiding self-deprecation. Use your words to speak with truth and speak with love, unconditionally. Secondly, do not take anything personally for what other say, do, and think is a projection of their own reality. Once you are immune to the opinions of others, you cannot be the victim of needless suffering. Thirdly, do not make assumptions. Ask questions with courage, even allowing for truths that you may not wish to hear. Communicate as clearly as possible to avoid misunderstandings. Finally, always do you best. For the perfectionists out there: have compassion for what your best is in the moment. Our best can change from moment to moment under any circumstance. Avoid self-judgement, self-abuse, and regret.
