Recently, my partner picked up a new book. E Squared by Pam Grout. Wow! I’m adding it to my list of spectacular teachings about MAGIC.
The sub-title reads: “Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments That Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality”
Now, I have read much about this, and practiced and practiced, but from page one, I could feel that I was going to learn something new, about who I am….I AM.
One little nugget gleaned right away is the meaning of the word ‘abracadabra’. I knew it was magical, but when parents tell their children jokingly that that is the word for making something magical happen, do they know that it is an Arabic word meaning “I WILL CREATE AS I SPEAK?”
I had no idea, I simply took it for granted just as I sometimes forget that my words are real things.
Pam Grout quotes Shafica Karagula, a Turkish born psychiatrist: “man’s concept of his world built on the experience of the five senses is no longer adequate and in many cases, no longer valid” Magic requires release from the five senses to something beyond.
I’m looking forward to reading more, to remembering what I’ve always known. I AM. And so, magic is my birthright.
