I've tried many systems to grow my Instagram community, and I'm here to tell you what doesn't work for me as an Intuitve Creative in my own business.

1. Posting at a certain time, on certain days. This just made me feel like a machine. I wait for inspiration, for the energy to rise up and prompt me to share what I feel has value for me and others, and it literally needs to happen when the energy is there. Later, scheduled, feels inauthentic because I didn’t listen to the prompts from my body and heart.

2. Sharing just to share, so the algorithm gods may find me worthy. Ugh, this is never going to be my path. Chasing the algorithm is a death sentence to sensitive souls. Creativity can work with a strategy, but it has to be a strategy that truly feels right.

3. Posting more than suits your lifestyle and reasonable time available – this is self-aggression. No thank you.

4. Looking for drama to post about. There’s many things I’m passionate about that I wish to shed light on, but I feel that Instagram has become daily shock value.

For me, and perhaps for you if you operate on intuition and the wiles of your muse, haha, excessive structure and following some industrial age schedule is just never going to feel good. There are times when I have so much to share it is a daily thing, and then I pull back, like the cycles of the natural world, there is an ebb and flow of energy and creativity.

Consistency? Sure. That’s important. But the map of that needs to be my own. What about you?

To be honset, this third book in the series is my favorite in so many ways, not only because a few years into the writing process I was more confident and practiced with my pen, but also because the story took me in a delicious direction... and I honestly mourned the ending.

For years I have shied away from being author first.
I've hidden under the proverbial basket, my light dimmed to what I thought I should be, without directly focusing on the fact that my writing, books, the characters I have brought forth from the ether, my inspired non-fiction words, are what has greatest meaning for me. It's what fires my soul day to night.

But something has shifted within me, and I'll be sharing in a new way. Lots about my #witchlit, #paganlit, #bookwitch self, and of course, #wisewoman shenanigans.

Offers on my website are concentrated on support for writers, wise woman path, and clarity mentorship.

So I'll see you, witches! Shapeshifting right before your eyes!

I've tried many systems to grow my Instagram community, and I'm here to tell you what doesn't work for me as an Intuitve Creative in my own business.

Eeek! I just wrote to the Polish Consulate in Vanc

Eeek! I just wrote to the Polish Consulate in Vancouver about regaining my Polish citizenship.

I was adopted from Poland to Canada in 1968 and became a Canadian citizen 10 years later. I have not been back to Poland since then for reasons I will get into
another time. But now, in my 66th year, I am nostalgic and want my citizenship restored. At time of leaving, Poland was a Communist state, and it was still so in 1978. I was told that Poland did not allow dual citizenship. In fact, it hadn’t been easy getting out.

Why is it important for me to get my citizenship now? At 7 I couldn’t articulate what losing my country and extended family meant. I’ve been processing this in time capsules over the years. I’ve resisted the return, and have been close – to France, to Greece, to Scotland, England 3 times, Wales… but never to the place of my birth. Reclaiming my citizenship and passport is the first step in this long journey.

When successful, this will open the door for my daughters to become Polish citizens, should they desire it.

I had a distinct time in my life when the witnessing became unbearable, I was so ready for the unfurling.
