Hunger Moon reminds of inner hunger, a passionate, heart-full hunger inspired by Luna in Leo, squaring Uranus.

The world is hungry now, for peace, for justice, for calm and co-operation. The heart is hungry for ways to bring darkness into the light, to be part of creative solutions that honor a life lived through the heart.

Dear Moonchild, allow some walls to crumble, to shatter illusions. Dear Moonchild, let your eyes see and your soul interpret next steps - this rawness you feel are impossible dreams begging to emerge through you.
Dear Moonchild, the moon illuminates things difficult to witness inside ourselves and in community. It shines on the possibility, should we choose not to be blinded by the harsh truths.

We can't control many things but we can commit to our own path, and seek to be of service in the larger community.

If spiritual hunger is visiting you now, pray to the ancestors, remember your roots.
If creative hunger is visiting you now, work with herb allies to bring inspiration through your dreams.
If physical hunger is visiting you now, reach out to community. You're not meant to do it all alone.
If relational hunger is visiting you now, remember that relationship with self is your grounding and love-source.

I woke up early and headed to my altar for inspira

I woke up early and headed to my altar for inspiration and guidance. I often run the little treasures in a small bowl through my fingers... Rowan berries, cedar leaves, sweetgum pods ( witch's burrs). These are from the garden, symbols of the magic that grows there. Immediately I found respite, my soul whispering... this is what's real, stay here, listen to the wisdom.

Each of these allies warmed my heart, their beauty so often catching my gaze as I go about my day. I touch my altar every day to stay grounded.

I am reminded of the Great Mother's generosity and abundance when I see seeds, berries and leaves. They offer symbolism, fragrance, decoration and medicine for my witch's larder. And there's no judgement of who I am. It's restful and restorative. In return, I strive to be thankful and conscious of the sacred environment I live among.

Forgiveness gets a bad rap because it can feel lik

Forgiveness gets a bad rap because it can feel like you're letting somebody get away with that thing they did.

Forgiving isn't about giving someone a pass on their bad behaviour. And no, you don't have to do it to reach some spiritual high-ground, in fact, you don't have to do it at all. It's a concept, a paradigm, something we can pick up and contemplate - is this for me?

Here's why I find forgiveness supportive of my life journey;

It's about being in the present moment with my emotions about what happened. I'm fully here, fully able to process, unencumbered by the weight of not letting the person who harmed me, go. When I let them go, my energy body knows the trap has been opened and it can breathe the fresh air of NOW. Being present to my life now is difficult if the tether keeps pulling me back... I let go.

And I fully know that thinking the person who harmed you gains freedom as well can be a bitter pill, but nothing good comes of their not healing from the person they were. Not for anyone. The cycle continues.

And I know that it takes time to get there. But the freedom is so worth it.

Chop wood, carry water.
I'm reminded daily that we're held by the Ancient Mother when the ground underfoot is shaky.
The proverbial process of 'chop wood, carry water' is how we can stay centered, grounded and present.
The hummingbird hovering by my kitchen window reminding me to thaw their feeder, taking food and water to the chickens, spending time with my cat Midnight Harriet when she needs a cuddle, baking something, washing dishes... are simple yet profound ways to maintain my emotional and mental health. Return to the basics. Find purpose in what is real. Ancient Mother sends signals like the hummingbird to let me know that small acts of service to my non-human relations build resilience and community and build hope.

Mother help us. Mother teach us.
