Monika appeared in my life when I was going through a particularly challenging time. I’d been through many since the beginning of my ‘awakening’ in 2010 but this was different. Polyamory was something I’d never encountered in my journey. I never have had to dance so much in the realm of insecurity and uncertainty and it basically shut me down. Any other situation I’d dealt with, I had the tools needed to deal with them but not this time. The feelings were so intense that I was at a loss as to what to do. I didn’t know how to move forward – it felt like I was paralyzed in the mire of my darkness. It got to the point that the only thing left for me to do was surrender to this heavy, messy, dark time and that night, I put an intention out into the Universe. Some paths just call to you. You know from day one this is it. This is meant for you. Back in March of 2020 when the world was going into lockdown, I happened on a website that spoke about Andean Cosmology. Instantly I knew this was the wisdom I have been waiting for. I knew I was being called to a path that was greater than my story, and I knew I wanted to be part of the shamanic path, an Earthkeeper, a liberator for women and their rights.

I took many courses and shamanic routes over the years. None really called me and I never completed any. And then suddenly there was Monika. Her path, her words, her wisdom called me like some ancient knowledge I was dying to discover. Immediately I signed up for the Munay Ki and my life hasn’t been the same.. The world around me crumbled and things starting moving, bringing me closer to where I am meant to go. Monika prepared me and helped me during this entire transition. Her Munay-Ki initiation isn’t just initiation. It is sessions of witnessing, counseling and empathy. It is being seen and held in light and love before the initiation is passed on. A calm takes over you after the sessions. A calm never experienced before.

My life is not the same.. Everything has changed, but Monika’s support even after the end of the initiation has been rock solid. She has held me and guided me with motherly love.
