This is extremely difficult to talk about, but we This is extremely difficult to talk about, but we must, if we're to make women’s health and mental health a priority.

I suffered with PPD 40 years ago. The intrusive thoughts were terrifying. The memories of them terrify me still. There's o way to forget. I am fortunate that someone helped me through it. And my, forty years later, there's still not enough research.

I wish for every woman to find the support she needs at such a vulnerable time in her life.

This case has gutted me, and, it reveals where the work is.
So this is the pathway, easily worked with to refl So this is the pathway, easily worked with to reflect who the person may have been or what happened.

1.Understand That None of it Was Your Fault

Practice, compassion and loving-kindness towards yourself

2.Know Yourself

When you understand your own mystery, your purpose and your soul mission, you can step bravely into your empowerment with your story as fuel for wisdom

3.See Mother for Who she is, Instead of the Woman You’d Like Her to Be

Mother is a complex archetype and thought form. Let go of expectations and see mother as woman first, systematically programmed within a patriarchal world

4.Grieve the Absent Mother and the Wounded Child

Allow space for grief, and release of big emotions. Support your inner child

5.Witness and be Present to Your Wounding, Emotions and Experiences

Look at what happened honestly and with presence. Witness the pain and it will witness itself, fear and anger have a place to express themselves and dissipate

6.Find Your Inner Mother, Self-Soothe

Taking responsibility for our own life experience, finding ways to nurture ourselves and shed the skin of wounding helps us to manifest the life that we want, release mother from her role as the perpetrator, and seeking a ‘rescuer’ relationship, moving from co-dependence to co-creation

7.Build Strong Boundaries

Healthy and strong boundaries with others and with yourself protect you from repeating the cycles of abuse, abandonment and neglect

8.Find Support

Seek out supportive relationships with positive people. Find therapy as needed. Avoid drama. Nurture your relationship with Great Mother

9. Find step 9 Know That Healing is a Spiral... and Evidence of Healing, on pages 7 and 8 of my book.

Over the last five years I have been exploring Ero Over the last five years I have been exploring Eros and sexuality from a different viewpoint than any other time of my life. Because of various circumstances which I will discuss in an upcoming article, I have been mainly, but not exclusively, celibate. Celibacy has been a surprise in many ways - one of the most interesting has been the emotional and physical space to play with Eros as an initiation. I was born under the Balsamic Moon. Say what you will about one’s personal astrology influencing the evolving psyche (not everyone believes in the connection), I have discovered that the archetypal energy of the moon I was born under has mirrored much of my erotic journey. Sex and Eros has always been deeply spiritual for me, a transformation felt in my bones… but I also sometimes abandoned my boundaries when wanting to feel something beyond my physical body. Frustratingly, I also seemed to move between several states of being, sometimes feeling greatly embodied, other times breaking all the rules to find myself nowhere I had intended, and other times feeling sovereign and sure of my journey. I began to wonder if my moon was my primary teacher, and the other moon phases – played supportive roles in helping me understand the full spiral of living a life of Eros. This share is part of what I came up with. I’d love to read your thoughts and experiences.

These traditions play an important part in how we These traditions play an important part in how we feel within our home.

Small yet intentional practices bring us closer to the indwelling spirit or guardian of our space.

I can say through years long personal experience through every home I've lived in that the relationship with the guardian creates a deep heartwarming energy to feel safe in.

Herbs:
Mugwort for prophetic dreams, protection against the evil eye
Rosemary: protection, peaceful sleep
Yarrow: preventing negativity, energetic shield
St. John's Wort: clearing the air and protecting the home from disaster

Blessed be, Witches!
Eclipses create such powerful imagery, reflecting Eclipses create such powerful imagery, reflecting the initiation, descent, the excavation and the rising of whatever quest we are on individually and collectively.

I hope that the Leo Sun is warming the path you are on. This is an evocative time, Leo Season, where we can be more in touch with our heart and heart-centered living.

We feel the eclipse, not only do we see it - it isn't a one day event but a story that weaves itself through us recalling past eclipses, solidifying wisdom, asking questions, providing answers. An eclipse is as much a living thing as you and I.

Blessed be.

Losses, (a friendship, health, direction, inspiration) I stand at the feet of the Goddesses grateful that this autumnal eclipse season has brought clarity (some) while opening my heart and mind to new possibilities. I still mourn that friendship, though. It was an honor to be in that sphere.
