You can do it anywhere and don't need special supplies. Of course, if you wish to add in herbal allies, stones, or divinatory oracles, also great!

The folk-witch uses what is local, handy, inexpensive or free... and remembers to check in with her community for reciprocal support.

The Mother Wound is the portal for finding purpose

The Mother Wound is the portal for finding purpose, creativity, compassion and love for others.

This has been true not only for me, but also for my clients.

The incredible transformation is seeing one's mother wound as a portal for good things in one's life. Liberating! Inspiring! As we move through the different ways we can view the Mother wWound, there is an aha moment where we see how this portal invites us to release the pain (not ignore it) and to see how it builds space for other things. It informs us, but doesn't bury us.

Sometimes you hear something and a lightning bolt

Sometimes you hear something and a lightning bolt goes off in your brain.

I remember hearing this distinction between depression and anxiety. The simplicity of the statement also, held such deep awareness.

I saw clearly the directions my mind was taking me, and suddenly could speak with compassion to both.

It allowed me to be aware of the present moment, so obviously missing.

Just inviting the present moment in can be a powerful shift.
