“You can love her with everything you have and she still won’t belong to you. She will run wild with you, beside you with every step but let me tell you something about women who run with wolves, their fierce hearts don’t settle between walls and their instinct is stronger than upbringing. Love her wild or leave her there.” ~ Nikki Rowe

You know how you imagine your life…you’ll do this, go there, create that…I never imagined Sedona. For one, I am late to loving the desert, and two, I was busy going to green places like England and warm places like Kauai. Now, Sedona has stolen my heart, but more than that, it has grown me into a new kind of wildness.

While on retreat with my biz coach and a sisterhood of women who are all learning about honoring the Divine Feminine and Creativity while building a mobile, magical business, I fell into the powerful energy of Sedona vortexes. I went a virtual virgin in terms of understanding how to show up for myself, and came home immersed in the knowledge that I am synchronizing my soul’s destiny. All I had to do was step from the space in my heart that understood this intellectually, and had been playing with it, to owning it.

I heard this in the dessert ~ “Self-realization equals personal transformation”

I decided right then and there that my soul-call would be my guru.

As creative priestesses, how can we honor our desire to serve, while upholding our sovereignty…because so often we want to serve but struggle with receiving, especially as it relates to finances. Many of us in this field of service, have a fractured relationship with money. Sedona whispered to me about being generous, about creating from the heart, and also about standing in my worth, and building a business that honored all aspects of the giving/receiving dynamic.

“According to Vedanta, there are only two symptoms of enlightenment, just two indications that a transformation is taking place within you toward a higher consciousness. The first symptom is that you stop worrying. Things don’t bother you anymore. You become light hearted and full of joy. The second symptom is that you encounter more and more meaningful coincidences in your life, more and more synchronicities. And this accelerates to the point where you actually experience the miraculous.” ~ Deepak Chopra

Although while in Sedona I felt transformation, it was very subtle, it really bloomed once I was home. Like a snake shedding its skin, I came home ready to experience more of the miraculous.

How about you, what has your journey with transformation been all about? I’d love to hear.
