The Winter Solstice is the time to gather evergreen boughs, pine cones, gifts from the hedgerow, such as berried branches.
Light your candles and prepare a light supper; if you have a wood burning stove or fireplace, add some dried herbs, and cedar to the fire.
Sup by your fire, be it the stove, your candle or a small cauldron that you have on hand to offer you the mystery of light.
Be not worried about what is to come. There is only the sun rising, all things good and prosperous on the horizon, know this because it has been written in the stars by you before you came here.
Look into the fire and see what it has to reveal…you will know, thoughts will come and you must trust them.
