The New Moon is one of my favorite times during the month, I feel the excitement of new intentions, the flush of possibility, the mystery of the Dark Moon before it waxes into light once more.
As we witness the cyclical path of the moon, we also embody its movements upon the night sky. We become its lessons and its wisdom, we are one within the cosmos and in our emotions. If we allow it, the moon’s relationship with the planets can be a map of our own inner journey.
This New Moon I am so very pleased to introduce the astrological divining of the magical TulaFae, a priestess of the mysteries. Her insights bring clarity to what I am feeling and experiencing as Luna’s energy governs the ocean of my being.
How is the moon with you, dear Wild Ones?
New Moon in Taurus with TulaFae
“This new moon is here to electrify the world quite literally. Just as the moon comes into Taurus, Uranus also comes into Taurus. Uranus is represented by the World card in Tarot. Therefore this shift can be radical in many ways that will just begin unfold.
The world is beginning an eight year cycle from the self focused, instant gratification and ambition into unveiling where humans are being unfair to themselves and our planet. Co-existing and co-creation will be brought on with more intention with Uranus in Taurus. It is time to dig in deep, ask big questions about ourselves and our place in the world as we gear up for a summer of revolutions.
Important intentions for this New Moon can look like;
Awakening perspectives on restrictions in our life imposed by ourselves internally or externally.
Asking what is stopping us from having the financial well-being one seeks.
How is one’s relationship to food, our body, and the earth affecting our reality and community.
With the moon in Taurus with Uranus and Mercury conjunct in Taurus as well; the Earth’s magnetic field will be supercharged, we will feel it in the land and air. Our bodies will react as Mars goes into Aquarius which is indeed ruled by none other than Uranus.
In understanding astrology we must know where we have been, where we are going, and how the planets dance together in the sky unifying their perspectives to set the tone.
This new moon marks the half way point of the eclipses from August 2017. It is a great time to see how one has evolved from these events of expressing our heart. What are the moon and Uranus doing in the cosmic fabric? They are turning the scope within and asking us to plant the seeds of transformation for our reality and our planet.
Taurus is self image, it rules the parasympathetic nervous system, the half of our nervous system which conserves our energy, calms our heart, and relaxes our internal state. Taurus remind us to have the finer things in life, hold dear friends close to our heart, to be ambitious and actualize those ambitious, even if the pace of manifesting takes its time. Taurus knows that a good thing will bloom in its season. Taurus is Earth ruled by Venus, representing the divine mother for millennia from Hindu paintings to modern day. Taurus develops our self worth and value, which when steady, opens the doors for manifestation to rush in.
Uranus is the father of Saturn, known as father time and counterpart to Gaia.
It rules our sympathetic nervous system which preps ups to fight, flee, or freeze by stopping any internal processing that can slow us down from saving ourselves. With this, Uranus can also bring up past traumas and if we do not take care of our needs, can make one more susceptible to dark moods. Uranus rules technology and is the great disruptor, bringing up what needs to change; answering all those intentions of letting go of what is no longer serving us, by turning our perspective literally on our heads. Remember, Uranus in tarot is the World card, and will keep things moving and spinning.
It is breaking up old traditions which do not serve the Feminine, the planet, and the inhabitants of this earth by getting to systems that make up most of our identity and self worth, such as the financial and food systems.
The New Moon is giving us fresh ground to break, sowing intentions to slowly bloom into our wildest dreams. The soil is ripe and fruitful if we remain diligent, nurturing, and wise to what serves us emotionally.”
